Well I am slowly catching up with my Blog. Meet Jennifer & Adam and their lovely Manchester Registry Office wedding from October last year. This was my last wedding of the year and what a lovely day it turned out to be. I met Jen and Adam at my office in Manchester as I had recently had to move out of the Studio. The office I am using is literally on the third floor and the lift was out. I felt really bad dragging them up three flights of stairs. We sat down and discussed the package they had chosen which was bespoke for them as they were not having a formal evening reception. The day arrived and I met Jennifer and the Ladies at the Blue Rainbow Apartments in Manchester. I have to say its amazing Manchester, it has so many different locations I had no idea existed. These apartments are self contained and fully equipped with everything you need. Sadly I am led to believe it has now closed. Jennifer and the girls set about getting pampered by the very talented Louise Hood make up and hairstylist.
I wandered around the apartment photographing the flowers, dress and all the bridal attire. Jennifer chose her dress from the beautiful Knutsford based Bridal shop Edith and Winston. After the bridal prep was done it was a short taxi journey over to the registry office where I met up with a totally chilled out and relaxed Adam. The ceremony was fab, Jen was walked down the ailse by her dad and into the arms of Adam. After the ceremony I set about photographing the bridal party outside. The original plan was to pop over to the Town Hall and Albert Square. We were gutted to see that it was totally taken over by the Oktoberfest. We decided to take the group picture outside of the Registry office and then I whisked them both off to one of my favourite places to photograph which is in the arches of the Library Theatre. Once there we spent about 30 mins capturing some images. Thats where they headed back off to enjoy a meal in a restaurant and I went and had a well earned pint in the Midland Hotel Bar whilst waiting for Kerry to come and pick me up. A fab day and we got some great pictures. Jennifer & Adam chose a bespoke package which included all the wedding images delivered to them by myself on a presentation USB pen. Thanks goes to Louise the make up artist who was dodging around me all morning as I was getting different shots of the ladies. The biggest thanks goes to Jennifer & Adam for allowing me to photograph your special day. Click on the link below to see a small selection of the final pictures from their fab day.
Thanks again Paul x
